Finding this FINALLY on CD was an epic moment for me… I was surprised, and I still am - these guys seemed destined to be forgotten. For many years I felt I was their only fan in the world… happy to see so many sharp folks love these guys!

one of their best for sure. my first rush LP's bought in 1979, after hearing their pink pop show on the friday rock show, bbc radio 1, were the archives treble LP set, and this one is my fav.

Is that Billy Powell playing the piano on the version of Coming Home? I think its the only song on this collection that has piano on the original recordings, I know he was a roadie for them in the beginning before Ronnie heard him playing what ended up becoming the opening to Freebird. Ronnie had no idea that Billy was a classically trained pianist but after hearing that Ronnie made him a member of the band. He added that much more depth to their sound as evidenced by the finished product of the "Pronounced " album versus the versions of the same songs on this Muscle Shoals album.....by the way there is no credit on this album for any keyboards

Par Excellence!

For me, and a lot of others, this is the BEST Fleetwood Mac ever made. Just cut after cut of excellent blues. This was the best line-up period. Peter Green was pretty awesome.

This band changed everything for me in my teens. I went to the Colston hall in Bristol to see them in the early seventies, man it was huge for me! One of the best rock voices of all time! I remember the day I heard that Kossoff had died of a drugs overdose -that was a sad day. He was a great guitarist, but sadly the drugs affected his playing. Andy Fraser -what a base player! Simon Kirke and Paul Rodgers are still doing music, in fact I saw Paul live at Birmingham a few years ago -amazing! He gets better with age. Nothing like this band around these days.
